Why does this case require the original gimbal lock?

The original gimbal lock holds the Pocket 4 gimbal in position inside the case. The protective shell then provides additional coverage against bumps, scratches and contact with other items during storage.

Does the hard shell touch the camera directly?

The main contact areas use silicone and soft fabric to separate the rigid shell from the camera, screen and gimbal. Always keep the interior clean, as trapped sand or hard debris may still cause scratches.

Where do I put the gimbal lock while filming?

After removing the camera, place the original gimbal lock in the magnetic storage position inside the case. This keeps the small accessory with the case and makes it easier to find after filming.

How does the filter compartment prevent filters from falling out?

The filters are stored in a separate internal compartment with its own cover. The cover should be fully closed before carrying or moving the case.

Can the wide-angle lens be stored inside?

Yes. The internal filter area includes storage for the compatible wide-angle lens. Confirm that each accessory is seated correctly before closing the cover.

Is the case drop-proof?

The rigid ABS and PC shell helps protect against ordinary bumps and short accidental drops. It is not certified as drop-proof, and protection cannot be guaranteed under every impact condition.

Is the built-in mirror unbreakable?

The mirror has been tested for impact resistance, but it should not be considered unbreakable. Avoid deliberate impacts or placing heavy pressure on the case.

Why does the mirror look cloudy or scratched when new?

A protective film is applied to the mirror during production and shipping. Remove the film before using the mirror.
