A pair of lightweight aluminum bumper guards designed to protect the Avata 360 gimbal and lenses from direct contact during minor bumps, rollovers and hard landings.

What do these bumper guards protect?

They create a raised protective area around the Avata 360 gimbal and lenses, helping reduce direct contact during minor bumps, side rollovers and hard landings.

Will the guards appear in panoramic footage?

They are designed to remain outside the normal camera view in panoramic and single-lens modes. After installation, rotate the camera through its available range and check the footage before flying.

How much weight do they add?

Each guard weighs approximately 3.4 g. The pair adds approximately 6.8 g to the drone, excluding installation screws if those are not included in the stated net weight.

Will they affect flight time?

The guards are lightweight, but every added accessory increases takeoff weight and may slightly affect flight time or handling. No exact endurance change has been provided.

Are the guards made from aircraft-grade aluminum?

The supplied material specification only confirms aluminum alloy. Do not use “aircraft-grade aluminum” unless the exact alloy grade and supporting material documentation are available.

How are they installed?

Will the drone still fit inside a carrying case?

It fits selected STARTRC hard cases and molded PU cases designed with clearance for the guards. Compatibility with third-party or close-fitting cases is not guaranteed.
